Sake is pronounced sah-KAY.
Sake is an all natural fermented alcoholic beverage made from rice, purified water, koji, and yeast. (Koji is a culture used in sake brewing, it breaks the starches in the rice down into fermentable sugars. It’s also used in tofu making!)
Technically Sake is not a rice wine, although it is a common misconception. The alcohol is a result of a conversion of sugars that have been converted from starch, as opposed to sugars from fruits as you find in wine.
Our sake is made with just four ingredients - rice, purified water, yeast, and koji and there are no added sugars, additives, or preservatives. The sparkling sakes are made by adding carbonation and natural flavor!
Because we love it! And Louisiana is the nation’s third largest producer of rice, so it just makes sense.
Our Filtered and Unfiltered Sake are 14% ABV and one 8oz can is about the equivalent of two glasses of wine. The Sparkling Sakes are 6.5% ABV, each 12oz can is about the equivalent of a craft beer.
Yes we do! However it is still under construction and should be ready for you in Summer 2021.

Unfortunately local laws prohibit the shipping of alcoholic beverages.
We do! We are in the process of setting up our online store where you will be able to purchase a variety of apparel and accessories. Our taproom will have a full store and we expect that to completed this summer.
Maybe! You are always welcome to email us your resume and let us know why you want to work in sake. We will advertise any vacancies via social media, so keep an eye out! email@example.com
Yes and yes!
Sake pairs well with life! You can pair it with any food you like (we enjoy seafood pairings!) but we think it works perfectly as a stand-alone beverage.
We think high quality sake (like ours!) should be served chilled.
We donate 2% of our profits to wetlands conservation, however we are happy to chat about potential sponsorships or donations. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with Donation Request in the subject line.
